If you want to lose weight, you need to start cheating

Starting a diet is hard, and sticking with it can be even harder—especially if you’re trying to adhere to a highly restrictive meal plan. Successful weight management is all about developing healthy and sustainable eating habits, and a big part of that is learning how to indulge in moderation.

Cutting out entire food groups and constantly depriving yourself of foods you enjoy is no way to live, nor is it a recipe for long-term success.

  1. I respectfully disagree. Some of us are emotional/binge eaters who don’t have impulse control. One doughnut turns into a dozen. Also, most food in this country is crap/poison. Cutting out certain foods and eating an anti-inflammatory diet may add years to your life. • I think indulging in moderation is good advice generally but there are exceptions as there are with everything.

One thing I completely agree with you on is that much of our food is crap. Even when I indulge there are certain things I still avoid.

  2. It’s funny because I just started a diet. I will take your post as from the Lord. Thanks
