He left Heaven for YOU

image

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
– Isaiah 53:5

Jesus Christ left Heaven for YOU.

He left Heaven and entered a world He knew would hate Him, for YOU.

He endured beatings for YOU.

He was unimaginably tortured for YOU.

He suffered for YOU.

He hung on a cross for YOU.

He shed his blood for YOU.

He died for YOU.

Amazing, isn’t it?

  3. No, he didn’t. I don’t need to be ‘died for’ and nor does anyone else. Reject the delusion!

  4. Theology test: If god makes the rules and sets the punishments and really wants to show mercy and forgiveness… he could have just chosen to forgive without the human sacrifice and blood of jesus. He really could have. He’s god after all, right?
    Why didn’t He?

    • You are not alone Mike, a lot of people wonder why Jesus had to die, so this is a good question.

Before we can come to grips with anything God does, we have to first acknowledge that His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts—they are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8). In addition, Deuteronomy 32:4 reminds us that “He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”

Therefore, the plan of salvation He has designed is perfect, just, and upright, and no one could have come up with anything better.
