Having lousy things happen in our lives could be construed as another test from God. Maybe some of those icky things aren’t really tests, but more of an opportunity for us to share our faith.

I don’t think  God deliberately puts things into our life to frustrate us. He loves us more than we can imagine. Our understanding is nothing compared to the creator of the universe. Our perfect relationship with Him was altered when the first humans disobeyed Him and thought thy knew better.

As we grow in our knowledge of Him through the Bible, we can come close to knowing who He really is, but we will never know Him completely until we die. In the meantime, we wait; we pray; we have confidence in His absolute love; and we try to encourage others through our own disappointments in life.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.
