Blog until the whole world hears

Since I started this blog I have been told countless times that I need to stop, shut it, zip it, put a sock in it…I’ve been called a liar countless times, been told I am no better than ISIS on paved streets, and was even told once that I would happily gun people down at a women’s health clinic.

You know, because my anti-science message is one of hate, bigotry, and intolerance born of indoctrination and based on made up myths and fantasy.

Here’s a good example from the blog’s fan mail.

“The reason I suggested mental instability is because you are showing signs of it.

You are certain about the existence of things you cannot see – invisible things. How can you expect to get away with publicly announcing that you think this way in 2014?

No matter how you cherry coat it, you believe in magic and invisible beings and spirits and when people die they are not really dead but will be alive to either be tortured or welcomed to heaven.

I am genuinely concerned. If you think god or the Holy Spirit has spoken to you, what’s the difference between that and hearing voices?

Why don’t you do the world a favor and shut the f#&$ up? Or better yet, kill yourself.”

I have been thinking about this a bit this morning and all I can say is.

1. The message on this blo that people hate isn’t mine, it’s God’s

2. I will not stop! Until right before I draw my last breath on Earth I won’t even consider not talking or blogging about the incredible gift of salvation through Christ.

After all, it’s required of me…

Jesus did not say that the whole world should go to church to hear; He said the church should go into the whole world to share. As Mark’s Gospel tells us, “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'”

– Mark 16:15

…and it’s something absolutely everyone on the planet needs to hear.

So here it is, in a nutsell, the Gospel message, and the main reason this blog exists.

We were created to have a relationship with God, but He did not make us to automatically love and obey Him. Instead, He gave us a will and freedom to choose.

From the very beginning, we chose to disobey God and run our own lives, this is what the Bible calls sin.

The result of sin is an empty life of separation from God that will eventually lead to eternal separation from God.

The Bible says:

“All have sinned and all fall short of the glory of God.”
– Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
– Romans 6:23

People try to fill the emptiness in their lives and build a bridge to God by doing good things but they always fall short.

The Bible says:

“There is a way that seems right to man but its end is the way of death.”
– Proverbs 14:12

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.”
– Titus 3:5

In order to bridge the gap between God and peoples, God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world.

He died for our sins on the cross and rose from the grave.

This opened the way to forgiveness and a new relationship with God.

The Bible says:

“But God demonstrated His love for us in that, while we were sinners, Christ died for us.”
– Romans 5:6

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes tonthe Fathet except through Me.'”
-John 14:6

God has done everything necessary to provide forgiveness to all who ask for it. We accept this forgiveness by trusting what Jesus did for us on the cross and receiving Him as our Lord.

If you want to do this today and change your life forever, do the following.

1. Tell God that you are sorry for your sins – the ways you have hurt or ignored Him.

2. Acknowledge that Jesus lived and died to pay the consequences of your selfishness.

3. Rejoice that Jesus rose from the dead to enter eternal life and to offer it to you too!

4. Finally, ask Jesus to take control of your life and to fill you in your hunger so that you can go and love others.
