The Corinthian Challenge | Part 1

Father in heaven, we praise You, for by Your mercy and grace, we Your people have the honor of calling upon Your Son Jesus, because, we by our own free will, accepted Him into our hearts and lives as Your True Messenger who was sent from heaven.

Father, we thank You, for Your grace which was given to us through faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Father, we thank You, that we are enriched in everything through the blood atonement of Your Son, Jesus, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Father, we thank You, that all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding comes from Your holy throne room by which we can commune with You at a more intimate level.

Father, we thank You, for the testimony of Your Son is confirmed in our hearts while we await the revelation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Father, we thank You, for confirming us until all has been said and done, so that we may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, we bind all divisions among us, so that we may be perfectly joined together in the unity of the faith.

Father, Your Son, Jesus, gave us the great commission to represent Him on the earth by making disciples of all nations.

Father, “the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,” for they, the Jews, rely on signs while the Greeks (Gentiles) rely upon their own wisdom.

Father, Jesus became a stumbling block to Your people (the Jews), and to the Greeks (Gentiles), Jesus was nothing but a foolish myth.

But Father, we thank You, because those who are chosen both the Jew and the Greek (Gentiles), Christ is the power and the wisdom of You who is His (Christ’s) God and ours.

Father, we thank You, for You take the foolish things of this world to put to shame those who are wise in their own eyes, and we thank You, Father, for You have chosen the weak things of this world to utterly confound the mighty.

Father, we thank You, for what the world calls useless, You call us ‘useful,’ and Father, we thank You, for calling those things that be not as though they are, for no flesh shall glory before You.

Father, we thank You, that we stand complete and righteous in Christ Jesus alone, for He (Jesus) “became for us wisdom from You,” for Jesus is the Sun of Righteousness who comes with healing on His wings.

And Father, we thank You, that through Your Son’s blood atonement, we are sanctified and redeemed by Your saving grace, for it is written: “Let him who glories, let him glory in You Lord,” for Your eternal glory we pray, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
