Apparently Starbucks can’t get anything right

First there was ridiculous outrage over the holiday cups, now this.

I don’t go to Starbucks often but I think these are cute, I would by them for my kids, and the polar bear is obviously wearing a scarf.

  1. I don’t go to Starbucks only because I don’t like paying more for one coffee than I do a meal. However, if I did, I would probably do with the cookie bear as I do with the chocolate Easter bunnies…start with the head. 🙂

  3. No Isis jokes please. (I meant ICE-iss – whoops…) Bear with me here.
I think Starbucks got the polar opposite of the effect they were aiming at.

  4. Bahaha! Now that’s funny. I don’t go to Starbucks because their coffee is over priced and it tastes like mud and burnt beans. Also, because people who go there tend to be special snowflakes who see odd things hidden in their Christmas cookies 😉

  5. Starbucks…I am a gold card carrier and have been for several years because, in my small town on the outskirts of Portland, it is the best place to meet and share a drink. However, red cups and truncated Polar bears aside, my gripe with them is how stars are allocated. If I gleefully present myself to the barista at the register and order a coffee and bagel, for instance, I will get only one star! That’s correct. One star per visit not per item. To get two stars I must ask them to ring the orders separately which I often forget (no jokes about my age). Recently I frequent a local coffee hut to support a local young woman who has courageously started her first business. Besides, the coffee is better. As for the the polar bears…surely someone should have seen how un-scarflike the red design is.

  9. Some people harp about anything. I don’t patronize Starbucks because there are cheaper and homier coffee shops around.
